When I was a kid I always dreamt about traveling - ahhh, the the joy and thrill that must surely characterize the lives of those lucky enough to spend their time visiting distant places!!!

I have to say that until this day life has blessed me with a fair amount of travels, nearly not enough to satisfy my “adventurer’s spirit” but definitely enough to discover a few interesting things about going abroad.

First of all and as Mark Twain said better: “Traveling is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime”.

By traveling I also quickly understood that many impressive feats of craftsmanship were waiting to be discovered every time I set foot in a new city or country.

My profession of fashion buyer for luxury brands and department stores has granted me over the years with extensive access to factories, laboratories, mills and showrooms -while in search of the next big hit brand as well as the best suppliers of clothing/garments/tailoring/you name it- but more importantly it has given me the opportunity to feed this never-ceasing hunger for beautiful things.

This and much more bring us to the very purpose and leitmotiv of this blog: share with the readers my passion while providing them with unbiased articles and in-depth analysis on products, suppliers, stores, tailors, brands and accessories of luxury menswear.

These pages are for the modern gentlemen, citizens of the world, fond of Quality and Craftsmanship: I will do my best to have every post published in two of the languages that I speak most often - English and French.

And for those preferring the latter, I promise you that the version of the site in French is coming ASAP ;)

A good deal of content will also be focused around guides and “how to”, in order to provide helpful information to the readers interested in knowing more about fabrics, cloths, cuts, tailoring and style in general.

Welcome, dear readers, I’m looking forward to this adventure together.

PS: for your delectation, in the pictures I’ll provide information on the items featured, with hyperlinks to the companies’ websites.
